KISS『Destroyer/地獄の軍団』45周年盤から「Beth (Acoustic Mix)」が先行公開

2021年11月19日に発売されるKISSの『Destroyer（地獄の軍団）』45周年盤から、先行楽曲「Beth (Acoustic Mix)」が公開された。この曲は、1976年に発売されたオリジナルのアルバム『Destroyer』に収録されていたバラードで、当時全米シングルチャートで最高7位を記録し、バンドの全米ヒット・シングルとしては最高位を記録した。

今回のアコースティック・ミックスでは、アナログ・マルチトラックからオリジナルのアコースティック・ギター・トラックを取り出して完全に復元し、オリジナルのピアノ、ボーカル、シンセサイザー・トラックとミックス。KISSの歴史の中でも特に愛されている曲が、新鮮かつ親しみやすい雰囲気に仕上がっている。

1976年3月にリリースされた『Destroyer』は、バンドの歴史でも決定的なアルバムのひとつであり、初年度に100万枚の売り上げを記録したバンド初のアルバムである。『Destroyer』は、「Detroit Rock City」「Shout It Out Loud」「God Of Thunder」「Beth」といったコンサートでお馴染みの楽曲が収録されている。

2021年11月19日に発売される45周年記念盤は、スーパーデラックス（4枚組CD＋ブルーレイ・オーディオ）のボックス・セット、2枚組CD、2枚組LP、限定版のイエローとレッドのダブル・カラー・ヴァイナル、そしてデジタルでも発売される。日本国内盤については後日詳細が発表される。
